🧠 Why This Matters
Perceived weight isn’t just about mass — it’s about moment of inertia (rotational resistance), especially when transitioning between targets.
Devices mounted further forward increase swing weight, which can:
- Slow down target transitions
- Affect shooter fatigue
- Impact muzzle rise and perceived recoil
🔍 Example:
A 24 oz suppressor 7” ahead of the muzzle applies 3.5× more torque to the rifle than the same mass located 0.5” forward (like SPARK HAVOC).
Though comparable in weight to high-end suppressors, SPARK HAVOC’s extreme over-the-barrel design places its center of mass just 0.5” in front of the muzzle — minimizing swing weight and making it feel significantly lighter and more agile to the shooter.
No other OTB mount is more extreme providing maximum performance in the shortest package possible.

Step 2: Select your Barrel Thread Pattern for your Muzzle Brake
Step 3: Select your Material, Stainless Steel or Inconel SuperAlloy
Note: Additional muzzle brakes, OTB mounts, and outer shrouds are available to order individually to make swapping across multiple weapon systems quick and easy. Mixing Stainless Steel and Inconel alloy parts is possible. They are compatible but it's not recommended because they expand at different ratios and may void warranty.

Will the standard mount fit your barrel?
If you have a unique muzzle brake or one you just really like we can evaluate it for clearance and fitment with our OTB mount.
Also, if you have a barrel that doesn't fit with our standard OTB mount we can also create a custom tailored mount for your rifle or pistol system.
Note: A standard or Big Bore sized OTB mount will work with any Spark Defense Muzzle Brake. Choose the right OTB mount depending on your barrel clearance. If your barrel thickness is less than 0.79" diameter measured 5.35" from your muzzle the standard will fit. Otherwise select the Big Bore OTB mount if your barrel diameter is less than 1" diameter 5.35" from your muzzle end. Any OTB mount will work with any Spark Defense muzzle brake and any Spark HAVOC sleeve. Every Spark-Shockwave muzzle brake also has clearance in any HAVOC sleeve.
Every Spark HAVOC system comes with 1 Spark-Shockwave muzzle brake included. If you want to use your HAVOC with multiple rifles just get the muzzle brake that fits each rifle and you will have full swapable compatibility guaranteed.
